About Ron Rizzi
The first camera Ron Rizzi ever had the pleasure of being introduced to was a Brownie 120 Roll Camera. It was fascinating process loading film from an unexposed roll from spindle to spindle. In the sixties a Kodak Instamatic was a popular tool that boasted fixed focus and aperture settings. Limited yes but the photo was in the eye of the adolescent be holder. Later in the sixties and early seventies, maturity and working in a photography shop with an exposure to the Nikon 35mm camera system and Nikkor lense series brought a sense of nirvana to taking a photo. These days it can be an Olympus digital SLR or even a cell phone that's smart. What hasn't changed though is... You had to be there! Favorite muses include rock concerts live from the 60's to present, automobiles and the graphic nature of design. While living in Atlanta the artist created an automobile show style event that included the celebration of cars and a cup of coffee. Cars and Coffee has since become a national phenomenon.
