Roswitha Kammerl

For several years I have been specialized in political motives. My preferred methods are oil (large formats of 40 × 52 inch), acryl, watercolor and charcoal drawings. My artistic education is reflected in my work. The range of topics can be most aptly described with the title of my most recent exhibition "Pin-up and Politics". Women posing and not stingy with their attraction, they are beauti-ful and with a cool gaze. Men are mere puppets from their point of view. As animals sometimes adopt human moves and behavior appropriate fauna completes the action on the screen. Animals and humans thwart the political game of power, greed, intrigue and corruption.
I really hav fun with the bizarre, the color and composi-tion of the vexing contradictions.
