Roxana Gheorghe

I am a multidisciplinary visual artist based in New York City, working at the intersection of architecture, geometry, and music. Inspired by the Bauhaus and Constructivist movements, my practice explores themes of light, humanity, and identity through digital abstraction.

My project "New York City New Bauhaus" examines how American trans-artistic movements reinterpret Bauhaus principles, analyzing the city's architectural forms through geometry and music-inspired digital media. My work has been featured internationally, including at the Florence Biennale 2025 and Chianciano Biennale 2024 in Italy.

Recent honors include the International Prize "POSEIDON—The King of Laguna" in Venice (2025) and the Luxembourg Art Prize Certificate of Artistic Achievement (2025). I am currently developing new work from my MoCA Artistic Residency in Venice and Treviso, Italy (2025) and preparing for the 69th Annual Members’ Exhibition at the Art League of Long Island, New York (2025).
