I am lucky enough to call making art a 'full time job'. It pays the mortgage, keeps my family fed, and above all allows me to do something everyday for a living that I love.
For the past 5 years these little guys have been my life. Transformed me from the 'sales rep' and 'mechanic' that I once was in to a professional artist. Still unbelievable in my mind.
I have no former qualifications in art, zero. This was a hobby once upon a time, and still is to a degree. But ever since taking a photo of a model train track all those years ago, it has always been about developing this style and seeing what mischief I can get up to with these tiny people.
I taught myself how to cut up, put back together and paint these miniatures. Then I took on the photography side and rolled around the streets in the wind, rain and sun trying to get a good shot.
Life has now been taken over by the little guys.
