South African born artist Ruby Beeton started her artistic quest at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.
Ruby emigrated to the West Coast of Scotland and lived in that beautiful part of the world for 18 years. That is when she vigorously pursued a 7-year journey, gaining notoriety and eventually graduated with an Honours Degree in Fine Art – Painting & Printmaking.
Upon graduation, Ruby was shortlisted by Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art.
Ruby held exhibitions in various parts of the world with many of her works in private collections around Europe, UK, Scotland, South Africa, Qatar and lately Bahrain.
She was selected in 2014 to produce a piece of art as a permanent installation for the new NHS £842m Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland.
Her biggest achievement with tremendous personal satisfaction was the Sold Out exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden in 2011. All paintings sold in aid of famine in Somalia with all her proceeds donated to charity.
Ruby relocated to Bahrain a little over a year ago where she quietly continues to explore and satisfy her curiosity of the world around us.
