RECOGNITION
I am Ruchita Bahl, a former textile designer and graphic designer - residing in San Jose, CA. My journey of painting started as ‘need of an hour’, when I moved from India to USA. While in coming to know this new and unknown country, adapting to lifestyle - painting became means to ease my wandering mind.
I make whimsical contemporary folk art. I find inspiration from various African and Indian indigenous tribes.
