What Does A Photography Mean To Me?
Mainly it is a study of the world, other people, and myself. It is a certain higher level of the interactive communication. Through the photography, I can uncover and express difficult topics like my relation to the world and life. It is a kind of poetry without a need of worn-out words. A good photography has its own meaning and sense. Besides providing a true picture of real objects, it can capture something intangible and hard to define. Some lines of forces streaming to reflect the photographer's individual feeling, his connection to the visual stimuli, experience, and situation. The relation to certain themes, their selection, and the way of interpretation - it all describes the photographer's personality, his intellectual and emotional level, his conscience and sub conscience. However, a strong element of happening and a moment of surprise remain a part of the photographer's creative work as well. I have been photographed about 1973. In 1978-79 I successfully graduated in the field of fine art at the Ostrava Folk Conservatory. I have exhibited my photographs at many personal and collective exhibitions, also as a member of the KOLEGIUM photographic association.
