About the Artist
I am a Turkish artist and sociologist whose artistic journey grew from a deep personal exploration of spirituality, consciousness, and the human experience.
My paintings are inspired by Sufi thought and the symbolic language of Islamic spirituality. Through forms such as the letters Elif and Vav, the name of Allah, and the whirling dervish, I explore themes of unity, surrender, inner transformation, and the connection between the visible and the unseen.
My background in sociology has shaped the way I observe people, relationships, and the inner dimensions of human life. Over time, this way of looking gradually found its expression in painting. For me, art is not simply an aesthetic object; it is a way of translating an inner experience into form, color, and symbol.
I am particularly influenced by the writings of Ibn Arabi and the rich tradition of Sufi thought. His understanding of existence, unity, and the relationship between the human being and the Divine continues to inspire my artistic language.
Each of my paintings is created by hand, allowing the process itself to become part of the work. I hope my paintings create a quiet space for contemplation and invite the viewer to pause, feel, and look beyond the surf...
Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology
My academic background in Sociology has shaped my understanding of human behavior, social relationships, and the inner dimensions of human experience. This perspective continues to inform my artistic practice and my exploration of the human soul through painting
