Tatiana Rusakova

My name is Tatiana (Tati) Rusakova. I’m a Ukrainian artist, botanical illustrator, and watercolorist based in Amsterdam. I come from a classical academic art education and studied art in all its forms and varieties from fine art to interior design, from sculpting to graphic design, from applied art to clothing design. Watercolor and oils remain closest to my heart, as they allow me to express myself and my emotions most authentically. Behind each of my work is 25 years of experience in the art industry, studding, hard work and dedication.

Call me old-fashioned, but nothing beats the feeling of real paint on real paper (or canvas). I love the mess, the texture, the unpredictability—art with an actual soul.
