The ethical and ontological reciprocity between maker and matter.

Making begins with an encounter.

My practice unfolds through clay as a living field of relations where body, material, tool, gravity, fire, and time continually negotiate one another. Making is therefore not the execution of an idea but an ontological event through which form, space, and meaning emerge together.

The studio is the first space of this becoming. It is not simply the place where objects are produced, but where material relations are continually organised, disrupted, and renewed. Every incision, perforation, compression, collapse, repair, and fired transformation becomes an imprint of these encounters. The works retain the spatial conditions of their own formation, carrying the ontology of the studio into the spaces they subsequently inhabit.
