Russel Peters is a German artist based in Hamburg. His work moves between photography, digital composition and architectural abstraction. It begins with fragments of the built environment: façades, construction sites, reflections, technical surfaces and the quiet geometry of urban space. Through reduction, layering and colour, these observations are transformed into images that no longer describe a place, but reveal a rhythm within it.
The ongoing series Synthesis: Architectural Abstractions, developed since 2019, reflects his interest in the tension between structure and perception. Lines become movement, surfaces become depth, and architecture becomes a field of visual resonance.
Peters’ long experience in photography and moving image shapes his precise sense of framing, light and spatial balance. His works are conceived as calm, concentrated images: clear in construction, yet open enough to invite a slower way of looking.
