I believe that contemplation of fine art and nature can be uplifting to the spirit so I paint landscape oil paintings 'en plein air' to share this beauty with you. Painting in the open air, I feel that I can more easily portray the light, shadows and colors that make up the natural world. I hope that I'm successful in sharing the beauty of the countryside through my artwork.

I have a BA in Studio Art from the University of South Carolina and have studied extensively with Ilona Royce-Smithkin, impressionistic painter from NY. I've also studied color with Michael Wilcox, author.Exhibitions:
