I was born and raised in a small Lithuanian town. Most summers were spent in fields and meadows trying to capture grazing cows with a brush.
The first time I took a brush in my hands was after finding my father's old watercolor set. It was such a magical feeling at that time, and I still have that feeling today.
I have graduated from Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas and the Vilnius Academy of Arts as an Art Critic. I have been participating in exhibitions and various artistic activities since 2006.
Having been actively engaged in art criticism, writing, and organizing plein airs and creative workshops, I now spend most time painting—directly touching the birth of artworks.
After moving to London, I started focusing on portraits. Moving to a big city was an opportunity for me to try to understand and experience the people around me. Some are personally touched, while others are just passersby. Everyone reveals their story, personality, experience, and empathy.
But in the end, don't you see and experience yourself?
