Ryan Miles

Trainee Teacher based in Kent, teaching at UCA (University for the Creative Arts) Canterbury. The artist's work tends to incorporate geometric qualities, most recently with the K'nex project. Ryan works both flat and three-dimensionally and has previously worked with installations. Having worked in a special needs school, working closely with children with autism; the artist's work has adopted structured qualities with psychotherapeutic concepts.

The artist has a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art and is currently completing a PGCE (Post-graduate Certificate in Education) at Canterbury Christchurch University, whilst on placement at UCA (University for the Creative Arts). Ryan has had previous exhibitions in Canterbury and Margate, and residencies at Cyprus College of Arts and Crate Gallery in Margate. Open for commissioned works on request.
