Sabe Lewellyn

Over the past eleven years Sabe has divided his time between two loves, his personal artwork and graphic design. Though Sabe has been successful at both: designing for major companies like Microsoft and Eddie Bauer, while showing his work on an international level. Now Sabe has come to a point that he is devoting all his time to producing fine art.

For the past three years Sabe has been solidifying his experience within the art world. Besides renting a studio in Seattle to have space to work he has also undertaken exhaustive research in contemporary art and its criticism. Part of this research includes volunteering at the Seattle Art Museum and Gage Academy of Art. Volunteering for the museum has given Sabe the chance of discussing a variety of art with the public, as well as providing him with an understanding on museum practices, special lectures and discussions with curators and artists. Volunteering at Gage has given him insights within for-profit higher education. Further understanding of higher education came when, serving within a panel of ten, Sabe helped establish an accredited visual communications program for Trinity Lutheran College. - This is the first of a multi-year plan to grow their art education programs.
