Anastasia Saburova

I was born into a Russian family of creatives, and grew up to develop a number of talents and passions in different areas. In 2008, I graduated with my master's degree in pedagogy and design. Driven by curiosity, I have never stopped learning and exploring the world, my artistic practice, and the mind. In 2015, I moved from Russia and have been traveling around Europe ever since. Currently my home is in Finland.

I love beauty in all its forms, especially creating it, whether as a makeup look, a hairstyle, a graphic portrait, a motivational speech, a book illustration, fashion modeling, creating handmade clothes, taking and editing photos, or painting moments and feelings. I have multiple passions but I see life best with a paintbrush in my hand.

Eventually, I realized that I don’t have to choose just one area to create in. Instead, I started finding new solutions at the junction of different fields, styles, techniques, and mediums. I find my greatest inspiration in the processes of experimenting, combining, mixing, and trying something new.
