Samantha Malone

Samantha Malone is an Australian/Israeli artist based in Tel Aviv. Her work is about movement, balance, and the way shapes and color interact on the canvas. She is interested in creating compositions that feel rhythmic and alive, where structure exists but doesn’t feel rigid. Geometry often sits at the base of the work, softened by intuitive marks and a more fluid process.

She works with acrylic paint and mixed media, building layers of color, line, and pattern. Shapes are adjusted, broken apart, and reworked, with sometimes parts of the surface scraped back to reveal what came before. This layering adds depth and keeps the work open and dynamic.

Color is central to her art practice. She use contrast and repetition to create a sense of flow, inviting the eye to move across the surface and linger. The paintings are abstract, but they aim to feel playful, considered, and connected, leaving space for the viewer to bring their own meaning to the work.

Samantha has exhibited internationally, including participation in the prestigious 2023 London Art Biennale. Her works can be found in private collections across Europe, the UK, the USA, Asia, Canada, Australia, the UAE and Israel.
