Sandhya Singh, the artist is much loved, and sought after, for the positive vibes she stirs up in audience through interplay of her style and subjects on canvas.

Born in Dehradun, at foothills of Indian Himalayas, Sandhya started early, recreating the magic of Nature with lines and colours.

Her professional grounding is traceable to two most famous schools of art in India, Shantiniketan and Baroda. Formalism of structured education only fuelled her creativity further. She has been breaking new grounds, with her style, in her subjects and in using art as effective agent for societal betterment.

Sandhya’s distinct style, dubbed as “Rhythmism” by critics, manifests harmony in tones, lines and forms. It is characterised by unbroken, smooth brush strokes and harmonious colour transitions.

Her subjects, with imaginative interpretations of themes from Indian cultural landscape– music and dance, life and social harmony, etc - provide pathways for inner peace and happiness.

Sandhya envisions art not only as visual adornment, but also as an instrument of universal communication and change.
