Sandi Badash's involvement in the arts began before starting grade school. Years later she earned her Masters Degree in Art Education, going on to teach at the high school and college level.
On a more recent note, Ms. Badash was displaced from her home and studio for two years due to damage from Hurricane Irma, and was not able to continue her work until August, 2019 when she returned home, and redesigned and rebuilt her studio. She has been working steadily since then,and re-emerged with her new work.
Masters Degree in Art Education
Badash's first one woman exhibition was in Cambridge, England where her art was lauded by eminent English art critic, Anthony Day. Upon returning to Santa Barbara, she was given a one woman exhibit at the Galleria di Silva in prominent Montecito, Ca. and after having a sellout went on to be represented by The Art Wagon Gallery in Scottsdale, Az., And Medici Gallery in Miami, Fl.
Sandi has been included in group exhibits throughout the USA and England including The Hort Exhibition at the Fort Lauderdale Museum of art, and Von Leibig Art Museum in Naples, Florida, her current home where she won a first place in their National Founders Exhibition. Badash is included in over 200 private collections.
