Sandra Abou Abdo

I weave the language of nature and memory into every surface I touch. My work is a diary of the spirit—each piece a bridge between worlds, where personal stories dissolve into universal emotion. In my art I transform wood, bark, and found fragments into intimate landscapes of longing, resilience, and hope. Through poetic symbolism and tactile materials, I invite viewers to wander the inner forests of the self, discovering echoes of their own journeys in the quiet spaces between the lines and textures.

Sandra Abou Abdo holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Art Academy of the University of Split, where she studied under Professor Željko Marović and was awarded the Rector’s Award for best student in 2005. She has furthered her education in Berlin, including studies at the Deutsche Angestellten-Akademie 2021.

Sandra is an active member of HULU Split (Croatian Association of Visual Artists), BBK Berlin (Berufsverband Bildender Künstler*innen Berlin)and has participated in international artist residencies such as Kunstraum Tapir in Berlin.
