EDUCATION
Sandra Romanelli, also known as Seimeinoki, is an Italian wire artist and psychologist who creates figurative wire sculptures, working primarily with iron and other metal wires. Her work turns wire into a three-dimensional line, a way of drawing in space where form and negative space are in constant dialogue.
Women, couples, and symbolic figures are recurring subjects in her practice. Her training in psychology shapes the way she listens to symbols, relationships, and the inner dimensions of human experience, expressed through gesture, movement, and the tension of the line.
Living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth has given Sandra a personal connection to themes of strength, fragility, and transformation. Each sculpture is shaped entirely by hand and unfolds intuitively, as the material becomes a language for emotions, bonds, and all that often remains unseen.
Degree in Psychology — Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy
