Sandy Mcdaniel

Shortly after graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Art, I relocated to Los Angeles, CA and started an environmental graphic design firm. As proprietor and creative director for over 20 years, Ive had the privilege of contributing to 2 and 3-dimensional award-winning design projects for clients including Saul Bass/Yager & Associates, Walt Disney Imagineering, Coca-Cola, and the J. Paul Getty Trust.

Oil on canvas is my primary medium, although my favorite subject matter varies widely, including political satire, contemporary issues, horses, dogs, portraits and landscapes. Thats what I find so wonderful about artthe unlimited ability to express, whether its a captured moment of tranquility as simple as a dog snoozing or matters of life and death and war.

Along with my own work as an artist and designer, Im also collaborating with another sculptor to create public art and large-scale installations.
