Pinheiro de Santamaria is a Portuguese artist who was taught by the great landscape painter Enid Mitchell. Recognised as one of the finest painters in contemporary art today. He has work in collections all over the world and has exhibited in solo and group shows in Portugal and is represented in institutions such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation‘s Modern Art Center, Portugal Telecom Foundation, A. R. ‘Portuguese Parliament’, Bank of Portugal, Ministry of Culture.
B1957 in Sintra - Painter - Four decades of Art - Lives and Works between Belgravia and White Island, Azores.
1965-70 was taught by the British landscape painter, Enid Mitchell.
