I am a London based British/Chinese painter and dancer.
Having studied both contemporary dance and architecture my work explores movement, form and space. My ink paintings express the hidden emotion of the body and traces of time. Before each piece I sit in silent reflection and meditation in front of the empty paper and wait for the moment to move me. In a few breaths I dance over the piece in ink in broad calligraphy stokes. I like to work on large scales that encompass the full range my limbs and torso.

Each artwork is a silent prayer, a song of the body that brings me back to emptiness, to a new beginning. I am a contemporary dancer and a painter with a background in archtiecutre, for me all disciplines are connected in my work as an artist. Dancing and painting and form all unite the focus of the mind, body and spirit.
