My creative practice is driven by a deep fascination with color theory, organic form, and the intricate structures of the natural world. My perspective bridges early work at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and exhibitions with the Society of Botanical Artists in London, alongside a career as a designer and illustrator for global publishers like HarperCollins. Following a relocation to Australia, my passion found a vibrant new muse. Immersed in a subtropical landscape, I use my acute design eye to explore the rich color palettes of native flora, focusing intensely on local orchids. Melding traditional botanical precision with a modern mastery of color, I balance design work with a fine art studio practice, creating pieces that are both visually striking and scientifically appreciative.
I was formally trained in Visual Communications (illustration) at Lancaster University.
Showed and sold my work at various venues in and around London and Essex UK including Central Hall in Westminster with the Society of Botanical artist and in Victoria, Australia
