Sara Jot Jaśkiewicz is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationships between form, emotion, and identity. In her work, she investigates the language of symbols and the tension between the organic and the synthetic. Her art balances between abstraction and corporeality, using form as a metaphor for internal states.
Red — a sign of life, energy, and pain — often recurs as the emotional axis of her narrative. Fascinated by the complexity of the human psyche, she creates visual labyrinths that lead the viewer deep into introspection.
She graduated from the European Academy of Art in Warsaw and the Fine Arts High School in Kielce (Textiles Faculty), receiving the award for the best diploma in Artistic Weaving. Her practice combines deep conceptual reflection with material experimentation.
She completed her diploma with honors in the graphic studio of Julian Pałka, one of the pioneers of the Polish School of Posters — a long-time Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and laureate of the 1968 International Poster Biennale (awarded alongside Andy Warhol).
She also studied under Franciszek Starowieyski, whose mystical and surreal approach to image-making profoundly shaped her artistic sensitivity.
