Sara Suzzi

My name is Sara, I was born in the summer of 1999 in Faenza, Italy.

In high school, I enrolled in a technical institute with a linguistic focus in my city, but I soon realized it wasn’t for me. I eventually graduated, and the only certainty I had was that I didn’t want to sit behind an office desk.

In November 2018, I started working for a ceramic artist in my city and discovered that this is what I want to do. I enjoy my work and continue to do it, year after year, with growing passion. I alternate between periods of crisis and better moments, but over time, the desire to go beyond ceramics and explore art in other forms grew within me.

So, I started drawing, then painting, finding the expressive and creative freedom I had been missing. In painting, particularly in abstraction, I found my complete fulfillment. I paint on canvas, mainly using oil paints, oil pastels, and acrylics, while also keeping an open mind to experimenting with other materials and surfaces.
