Sarit Gold

Based in London, Sarit credits her art journey to a twist in her personal life. Nearly 20 years ago, Sarit attended gallery tours and workshops that offered an immersive and intensive study of contemporary and past artists. During these sessions, Sarit acquired an in-depth history of each artist and details of each piece – from brushstrokes and lighting to influence and broader historical context. Inspired, Sarit continued her art education with other curators learning about style and context – turning to actual artistry only when her fingers demanded to hold a paintbrush. Sarit participated in lessons over eight years with various artists and teachers in London. Through these classes, Sarit discovered a love for painting pieces in the figurative and the abstract.

In recent years Sarit has been exposed to Jewish studies and this has had a significant effect on her artistic output.In particular the study of Kabbalah and Tanya.

When Sarit picks up a paintbrush she’s inspired by Impressionism in shading and lighting combined with an Abstract sensibility.
