Based in the historic Surakarta city, cultural spirit of Java's, I am a contemporary painter weaving ancestral Javanese esotericism with cutting edge digital craftsmanship. My artistic journey bridges a formal background in Visual Communication Design and decades long career as a professional 3D modeling artist with a profound personal connection to the cultural guardians and royal history of Java.

My creative drive is fueled by an inherent responsibility to preserve my ancestral lineage. Each piece is an extension of traditional spiritual practices, deep meditation, fasting and nocturnal vigils. inherited from the esoteric teachings passed down by my father and also my painting teacher, who studied under a legendary 20th-century mystic of my city that I was born, and deeply inspired by the prophetic wisdom of Java’s ultimate court poet.

Moving away from pure surrealism, my current artistic focus defines a genre of Spiritual Realism. Through highly precise figuration, my work originates from profound insights, inner voices, and signs of nature received during my spiritual practices and mindfulness meditation.
