RECOGNITION


An internationally collected sculptor, he works in both Bronze and Stone. His subject matter is almost exclusively wildlife indigenous to his home in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. He chooses to sculpt animals that he knows and with which he has contact. He draws inspiration from the beauty that surrounds him and that he can observe daily.
A few recent projects have been a 6ft tall bronze eagle for The Citadel in Charleston, SC., A nine bronze sculpture installation located in Marion Square in Charleston, and 6 baby bronze loggerheads for the town of Isle of Palms, SC.
Along with winning numerous awards, he has been hired to sculpt many commissions and public installations. He is a signature member of The American Society of Marine Artist and a member of The National Sculpture Society. He has had several solo exhibitions and exhibits at prestigious art shows around the country. His work is highly sought after and found in many corporate and private collections. He received his art degree from Appalachian State University. 1991-1995 Studied under Artist Jan D”Esopo. Worked making commissioned bronze sculptures in foundry located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

October 2019 Commissioned by the Rotary Club of Charleston to create 9 Bronze Wildlife sculptures to be placed in and around the fountain in Marion Square
