Sébastien Grimbaum is a French-Mexican artist based in New York. In his work, he employs the techniques of cubism in order to deconstruct the subject into multiple perspectives and movements, creating compositions that are dynamic and expressive.
By breaking down the subject into geometric shapes and planes, Sébastien Grimbaum is able to depict the subject from multiple viewpoints and angles and show the subject in motion. This allows him to convey a sense of depth and movement within a single image, and to create a more dynamic and expressive visual language.

I have taken independent art studies in México, Spain, and France, but my biggest education in the arts comes from experimenting and my passion for painting.
