SERGII PAPROTSKYI

In short, from the mid 70s to late 90s was the desire to find my own original language and style, working in two genres - landscapes and still life,because in Soviet times, these trends in the fine arts were considered inferior. I wanted to somehow prove that it is not. I were to identify the process of becoming form, i.e., the interaction of natural material and energy actually by me,as a creator. At one time there was a need to combine painting and graphic beginnings, identify local contrast of local and textured surface, clearly outline the composition of each thing. Later I came to abstract art, until now.

1955- born in Odessa, Ukraine
1976- graduated from the department of painting and graphics from southukrainian Pedagogical
University in Odessa
1990- member of the National artist union of Ukraine
1996- work as a vice-director of the Odessa Art-college named by M.B.Grekhov
