I am a documentary reporter and portrait photographer operating under the visual philosophy of 'Senza Fissa Esposizione' (SFE -) — No Fixed Exposure (sfe.vision). My work is an instinctive, raw exploration of human authenticity, captured where reality manifests in its most visceral forms: through intense encounters, deep gazes, and the profound stories of those who live on the margins.
Rejecting the constraints of rigid technical perfection, I use photography as an open diary to document the human condition, raw reportage, and the colliding forces of nature. Every image is an unfiltered fragment of a larger journey—focused on timeless, high-contrast black and white and deeply authentic realities that break the barrier between the observer and the subject. I don't just capture scenes; I document existence through the powerful connection of a portrait and the unyielding truth of a story.
The Bloodline:
My education didn’t happen inside the clinical walls of a photography school or a university classroom. It started at home, growing up surrounded by my great-grandfather’s vintage prints, the chemical smell of developing rolls, and the deep, analog rhythm of vinyl records. Photography wasn't a career choice; it was a bloodline, an inherited way of looking at the world long before I ever held a camera myself.
The School of the Street:
Shaped by this heritage, I developed my craft through pure, uncompromising practice. My real academy has been the road—documenting human existence across different countries, learning to read the light on the asphalt, and understanding how to approach the raw, unfiltered reality of people. This self-taught path didn't make me a technician; it made me a storyteller. It taught me to reject rigid academic perfection in favor of instinct, empathy, and visual weight.
