Sirpa Häkli is a visual artist and a painter based in Helsinki, Finland. Häkli has exhibited in Finland and abroad. Her work is included in collections such as the Finnish State Art Deposit Collection, the Parliament of Finland, Frans Masereel Center (Belgium), Sándor Nógrádi Museum (Hungary) and the Luciano Benetton Collection Imago Mundi (Italy). Häkli was granted the Finnish State's Artist Pension in 2024.
Sirpa Häkli's mediums are oil and acrylic colours combined with dry pigments, aquarell, ink and collage. Her visual language is non-figurative and expressive. Häkli's themes and subjects range from the visual depiction of various concepts – such as time, voice and existence – to landscapes and topics in art history.
