Darius Foroutan

Born 1964 in Vienna, Austria. Grown up in Vienna, the "Waldviertel", Lower Austria and Tehran, Iran.
After high school, attending the Camillo Sitte- Bauschule Vienna. Thereafter studying at the Technical University Vienna .
Among others, studying under Roland Göschl in nude and architectural drawing and watercolors, and Frantisek Lesak in plastic forms.
From the early 1990 onwards studying with Mehdi Sadjadi (oil painting).
1992 graduated as an architect. Three years later joinig the Austrian Chamber of Architects as an indepent architect.
Since then, working for the most important architecture ateliers in Vienna, particularly those of Viktor Hufnagl (1922-2007) and Hans Hollein (1934-2014).
Meanwhile constantly working as an freelance artist.
Since 2016 member of Artists' Association Biennale Austria.
