Simone Alves

Since I was a child, I found my first inspiration in trees, drawing their contours and foliage with wonder and curiosity. I studied at the Pan-American School of Arts in São Paulo, on Brigadeiro Luís Antônio Avenue, surrounded by trees that further fueled my artistic contemplation—long before the building became that iconic pyramid.

Later, my degree in Marketing broadened my vision, allowing me to combine art and creation with projects with a more commercial essence, without ever losing the sensitivity of sketching.

My journey is paved with art and painting courses; I studied violin, sang in choirs, and embarked on some trips and experiences that wove what I call my "creative skin."

Today, I inevitably return to the arts, rediscovering in leaves and trees the deepest connection with nature—and also with myself.

The Devir series arises from this inner landscape, where each leaf is a memory, each composition an invitation to contemplate the action of time and the delicate cycles of life that renew themselves.
