Simonetta Rezzani

I am an Italian painter and I studied art and design in Italy. In the late 80s I went to Milan and where I worked as a freelance illustrator.
Later I moved to Ireland, where I started working as a painter.
My artwork was displayed in several Irish art galleries and interior design outlets and so it became part of many private collections. I also had the pleasure to taking part at many group exhibitions and craft fairs.
I am based in Ireland since many years now and where I continue and painting.
My artwork has been defined as a semi abstract impressionism.
I am personally not too sure about what art group I can be classified to, but I do know that I follow my feelings and emotions.
Perhaps, I can say that I like to use the colours and the light as a form of expression.
My brushwork is for me a visual narrative and tell about the places and the people in my landscape.
