Siobhan Peters

Siobhan Peters is a multi-disciplinary visual artist based in Vermont, who works primarily in oil paints and ceramics. She grew up in Northwestern Connecticut where she spent most of her time outdoors, and enjoyed learning about the region’s natural history.

While attending Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT Siobhan initially had intended on working towards a degree in Environmental Studies, however, she found herself enticed by the visual arts programs that were offered at the school. While her interests in the creative processes remained diverse she was particularly drawn to the ceramics and painting programs drawn to a variety of different artistic disciplines including painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpture. She went on to earn her BFA in Visual Arts with concentrations in Painting and Ceramics in 2011.

After earning her BFA Siobhan took a job in the themed entertainment industry, which would evolve into a career that spanned the better part of a decade.
