Soha Farhat

Soha Farhat is a Lebanese digital artist working at the intersection of dark feminine surrealism, vintage engraving, and graphite realism. Based in Beirut, her practice explores interiority, distortion, and the emotional weight carried in the female form — figures wrapped in tension, veiled in silence, or dissolving into the worlds around them. Trained across illustration, art direction, and brand design over more than a decade, Farhat brings a rigorous graphic sensibility to a deeply personal visual language. Her linework references 19th-century engraving traditions while her rendering pushes toward the psychological and cinematic. The result is work that feels both intimate and iconographic — quiet portraits of women moving through their own strange atmospheres. Farhat's practice is shaped by the specific weight of making work in a collapsed context — Beirut's power cuts, its silences, its unreconciled beauty — and by a broader interest in the cosmos, memory, and the invisible structures that hold women in place. She works primarily in digital media, with each piece produced as a limited edition print.

BA in Graphic Design. Formal training in art direction and design with additional coursework in fine art. Primarily self-taught as a painter and illustrator, developing a personal visual language across more than a decade of practice.
