Sona Adalian

Born in 1961 In a family of artists. Father Adalyan Ruben Martirosovich, People's Artist of Armenia, member of the Union of Artists of Armenia, mother Naira Hakobyan, I grew up among books, in an atmosphere of art. There were always many guests, artists, writers in the house. I have been drawing constantly since childhood, with pencils, felt-tip pens and paints. I visited Yerevan with my parents for six months a year. My father's workshop was there. There was a very creative atmosphere in this workshop, Armenian artists gathered and talked about art.
And from the 6th grade she studied at an art school. In 1980 she entered the Academy of Arts. Participated in group exhibitions in Moscow, France, America. Works are in private collections in Sweden, Ireland, Germany and France. Since I dreamed of illustrating books since childhood, in addition to painting, I tried myself in illustration. Loves to travel in Europe.
