Sophie Spandonis

I'm a French visual artist, born in Paris but currently living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentine.

I studied French Literature and have a PhD.
In Buenos Aires, I studied art, and especially fiber art, in various local artists' studios and have been one of the assistents of Leandro Erlich, worldwide famous contemporary artist.

I made personal and collective exhibitions in Museums (Museo José Hernandez, Museo MACA, Musée de la Manufacture, Hawar Textielinstituut, etc.); Cultural Centers (Centro Cultural Recoleta, Centro Cultural Marco del Pont, Centro Cultural Carlos Gardel, Centro de arte contemporáneo Casona de Los Olivera, etc.) and galleries (Galerie Trousseau, Galería Pan Francés, Galería Mar Dulce, Galerïa Bisagra, etc.)
