RECOGNITION
Originally from New Zealand, I'm now living and working in Sydney, Australia. I work with a variety of mediums creating original, textural artwork playing with form and colour for contemporary interior spaces and homes.
My artwork is created by loosely hand weaving natural fibres, which are then layered over painted canvases to create texture and depth. Due to this, the artwork can often take on different personalities depending on the available light or time of day.
Currently, my work is exploring the subtleties of colour found in the everyday environment and is continually inspired by the works of abstract artists and masters of colour, including Agnes Martin and Mark Rothko.
