Regina Jean (Spika) is a Mexican contemporary artist known for her expressive portraits in acrylic and oil. Her work blends refined realism with atmospheric and abstract elements, placing the human figure within immersive, often otherworldly environments.
Spika’s paintings focus on emotional depth and psychological presence. Through layered textures and carefully constructed color palettes, she transforms portraiture into a dynamic visual experience that feels both intimate and expansive.
Coming from a multi-generational artistic family, Regina brings a strong sense of heritage and craftsmanship to her contemporary practice. Her works are held in private collections and are sought after by collectors who value figurative art with conceptual resonance and technical precision.
She lives and works in Mexico.
