I paint to explore what often remains unspoken—emotional memory, internal tension, and the subtle disconnects that shape our lives in a world saturated with noise. My work is both a reflection and an act of resistance: a way to slow down, stay with feeling, and give space to discomfort, solitude, and longing.
Self-taught and rooted in lived experience rather than formal training, I draw from the textures of everyday life—the tension between presence and absence, the quiet ache of digital fatigue, and the resilience it takes to remain open in a hyper-connected world.
Working primarily in acrylic and oil on canvas, my process moves between expressive gestures and layered restraint. My palette shifts intuitively—sometimes muted and melancholic, other times vivid and raw—always led by emotional truth. The figures I paint often inhabit symbolic or dreamlike spaces where posture, color, and atmosphere carry more weight than realism. These are not literal portraits, but emotional landscapes.
For me, painting is a return to presence—a quiet rebellion against the pressure to perform, scroll, and appear “fine.” It is where I reconnect: with myself, with others, and with the fragile beauty of simply being human.
