My work explores the relationship between space, nature, and architectural perception through works on paper. I approach painting as the construction of a visual territory: a window, a surface, or a threshold that allows nature to enter the built environment in a subtle and non-illustrative way.
I primarily work with paper as a material with memory: folded, wrinkled, stretched, and sometimes brought to the limits of its resistance. Acrylics, watercolor, gouache, pastel, and ink interact with the paper’s structure, allowing water, gravity, and gesture to shape the final image. The process is physical and intuitive, guided by material behavior rather than rigid control.
My visual language moves between abstraction and landscape, where natural elements such as water, light, vegetation, or atmosphere are suggested rather than described. I am interested in creating works that remain emotionally resonant while maintaining clarity and restraint, suitable for architectural and corporate contexts.
Architecture, spatial rhythm, and traditional Asian approaches to gesture and material sensitivity strongly influence my practice. The finished works are conceived not as decoration, but as elements that quietly inhabit and transform space.
