Stavros Stavrinos

I am a figurative and impressionist painter living and
working in the republic of Cyprus.
I was trained in art design and illustration back when
all images and designs were produced by hand.
I was always had a passion for realistic, figurative and landscape art done in the old masters tradition so i traded the markers, pencils and boards for the canvases, brushes and paints of an artist.
My art is about the world around us, telling a story
using shapes an colors.It is simple, straight forward and easy to understand.
The subject matter are scenes from life as i lived and experienced it.
The artistic style is a blend of classical, Byzantine and Latin American art with vibrant colors, always trying to
make every canvas as lively and interesting as it can be.
