About Stella Burggraaf

I am a Dutch landscape painter. I grew up and still live in the North of Holland, close to Amsterdam. Most of the paintings are made in my studio in Westknollendam, but I also work plein air. I am inspired by Monet and the painters of the ‘Haagse School’. The oil paintings I make are impressions. Starting with the horizon I create my own landscapes, searching for the admosphere of the wetlands, with wide views and the famous Dutch clouds reflecting in the water.
