Stephane Pia

Stéphane Pia is a French photographer and editor of The Pocket Gallery, a magazine offering a tactile experience of photography. Based in Paris, he has travelled through Asia, the U.S., and South America, capturing emotional, human-centred stories. Beginning his journey in 1984 under the mentorship of a professional, he later embraced the subconscious as a guide in his creative process.

Stéphane’s photographic practice focuses on street photography, conceptual work, and artistic expression, and he works across both film and digital processes, including silver gelatin and cyanotype printing. His work has been exhibited in France, Italy, and international festivals, and published in art books.
