My work is grounded in portraiture as a practice of presence, trust, and attentive witnessing. I am drawn to the human face as a space where lived experience is carried, where emotion, resilience, and vulnerability exist side by side. Through the camera, I aim to create portraits that are honest, respectful, and dignified, allowing each person to be seen on their own terms.
Much of my practice is shaped by long-term, socially engaged projects, particularly those exploring marginalisation, health, and identity. Working across both documentary and fine art contexts, my intention is to slow the viewer’s gaze and foster a sense of connection, inviting an encounter rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect.
