I live in Maine and photograph the places where people work, struggle, create, and make a living. I have always been fascinated by the evidence of human presence—the fingerprints people leave behind on the world.
Many of my photographs do not show people directly. Instead, they reveal lives through the objects, structures, and environments that surround them. A fishing dock, a bait shack, a worn workbench, or a chair facing the sea can tell stories that words often cannot.
Rather than chasing dramatic moments, I look for layers: details that may not be noticed at first glance but slowly emerge as the viewer spends time with the image. My hope is that each photograph rewards a second look and offers a deeper connection to the people and places it represents.
